Employed with NCDF since 1986, and serving as Executive Director since 1997, Jeanne Strickland is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the organization including planning, directing, supervising and evaluating the activities of NCDF. She provides direction and guidance to over 20 full and part time staff while working closely with the Board of Directors. Under her leadership NCDF developed The Homes at Auburndale Yard and completed a $2.5 million renovation of The Hamlet Townhouses. Jeanne Strickland holds a bachelors degree in Urban Planning and has over 24 years experience in affordable housing and property management. In addition to her responsibilities at NCDF, she serves as Treasurer of Pelham Corporation, a non-profit organization based in Framingham, Massachusetts which owns 558 rental units. She is also an active member of the Newton Housing Partnership, New England Elderly Housing Association (NEEHA), Citizens Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA) and the Massachusetts Clubhouse Coalition Employer Advisory Board.
